Meditate on the Humanitarian Moon to help create
peace
Meditation on the full moon can result in a heightened experience. Meditating on the first three full moons of the year
( the first being the spring equinox moon ) is sacred.
The 1st is the Christo Moon, with Christ Energy
The 2nd the Buddha Moon provides glimses of masterful wisdom
The 3rd the Humanitarian Moon
Rituals have been around for thousands of years. They are done to help us attune our mind and emotions to the task ahead
so we are better able to deal with what is to come.
Tribal body painting and chants always preceded war to give men faith in their cause and strength to fight another day.
As with meditation, there should be some preparation ahead of time to bring your mind/emotional set into alignment with
what you are about to do. Here are some suggestions to prepare you for meditation.
- Regulate your sleep and your rest. Leave enough time for both.
- Do not think of good or bad, past or future, positive or negative with regards to your meditation.
- Maintain a healthy eating and exercise routine.
- If it helps you relax, bathe before your meditate. Some people use this as a vital part of their meditation routine as
it can be used as a cleansing technique.
- Set the mood with candle light and aroma therapy or incense.
- Dress comfortably.
- Make sure you will not be disturbed during your meditation by anything (family, phone, pets).
- Do not meditate when you are nervous or tired.
- Always start your meditation with a prayer of protection and surround yourself with white light.
- Do not expect instant results or look for signs of improvement.
- Do not be surprised if you hear sounds or see visions.
- Be accepting and calm during your meditation.
- Do not waste time trying to explain what is happening to you. If you need to talk to someone about your experiences do
so with someone who practices on a regular basis. You will be surprised how many people are taking up the practice if you
go asking.
- There is no quick process to meditation. It's all about patience.
